Wissam Boustany performs Georges Bizet's CARMEN FANTASY at a Selecteum des Arts et des Sciences concert with with Quatuor Musique del Tempo. The concert took place on March 2, 2016, in Saint Louis Cathedral of the Capuchin Brothers, Beirut, Lebanon.

This was from one of my solo livestream concerts from home during lockdown. I had just lost my beloved mom and not been able to play at her funeral. It was improvised on a jam track from Alfred Potter’s website, titled "The Modal Jam Track Challenge".

This was our first recital after lockdown; it took place at St Stephen's Church, in London. The Sonata by Joseph Jongen has been one of our favourites….an absolute masterpiece.

In April 2015 Wissam Boustany gave his third residency at the Australian National Academy of Music in Melbourne, Australia. Wissam was invited to conduct a performance of Poulenc's masterpiece "Aubade", his concerto for piano and 18 instruments, originally conceived as a choreographed work. This week proved to be a profound experience for Wissam and the concert turned out to be his 'unofficial debut' as a conductor, after which he resolved to develop his conducting.

Wissam talks about the Beacon of Hope tour of the Pro Youth Philharmonia, in January 2019. It took the orchestra to Canterbury, Birmingham and London. Conductor Wissam Boustany talks about the tour’s achievements.

In April 2016 flutist Wissam Boustany took part in his first conducting masterclass, which took place in Le Touquet, France, under the wonderful guidance of Maestro George Pehlivanian. This video marks the beginning of a new phase on Wissam's musical journey, documenting his first steps in rehearsal with the talented orchestra of Conservatoire de Lille, as well as their public performance of Anton Dvorak - Symphony No. 9 'New World Symphony (slow movement)

In April 2018, the Pro Youth Philharmonia was born.

PYP met for the first time on 9th April 2018 for four days of rehearsals and gave three concerts in Cadogan Hall (London), Sheldonian Theatre (Oxford) and Victoria Hall (Stoke-on-Trent). In this video by Tarik Halil, we see PYP rehearsing and some excerpts of their inaugural concert in Cadogan Hall. Artistic Director and Principal Conductor, Wissam Boustany, talks briefly about the orchestra and its "Method Called Love", which lies at the heart of its ethos. Excerpts:
